1820. George III (S-3784; W&R-179): (Au) Gold Two Pounds. Obverse:. Small Laureate head facing right, date below, ‘GEORGIUS III D: G: BRITANNIARUM REX F: D:’, finely toothed border. Reverse: Struck ‘en medaille’, St George slaying the dragon, edge inscribed in raised letters DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI LX, followed by cinquefoil stop. Lustrous and sharp all around; some light hairlines on the obverse fields. Only 10 coins graded higher and only 60 pieces struck.
