Yesterday saw the Companies 4th Auction held online, and the 768 lots on offer were general world coins with a heavy influence from Asia. Pre Bidding was very strong and many items started during the live auction at 100’s of times over the estimate price. There were many highlights from the auction, but the British India section brought the most frantic bidding, such as Lot 118 a William IIII Gold Mohur in a secure holder estimated at CHF5’000- realised CHF14’950-, all results will be posted soon, and we will report back with all the highs and lows of the day, we would like to thank all the participants both in pre bidding and during the live auction for their part in making this auction the most successful one to date. The new date for the next auction will be March 17th, which sees a move away from the end of the month dates we usually aim for due to the Easter Holiday break.
Lot 19- British Honduras 1918 10C. Estimate CHF65-, Realised CHF1’840-
