Finally Numisor held its first floor auction at Feldman Galleries in Geneva on October 21st, and the whole event was a great success. We offered 644 lots for auction and with 611 lots sold and 95% sell rate, the results speak for themselves. The bidding was strong in the room as well as over the phone and on the internet, but with 70% of lots selling to the web bidders, the live internet bidding was phenomenal.
We are planning the next floor auction for late spring 2017, and welcome any consignments you may have, we are available to collect the consignments at most major coin shows including London Holiday Inn, York Racecourse, Harrogate Swan Hotel and many other European shows such as Berlin, Munich and Vienna. We also have agents in most EU countries and overseas where you can leave your items, so please email for the arrangements to suit your needs.
The floor auction saw a few new world record prices achieved and I have included some of these items in this post, but all prices realised are available on the website at www.numisor.ch/auctions. We look forward to receiving any items you may wish to offer for sale through our auction process, be it online or at a room auction, and our next online auction is live on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th November, see our auction partners Sixbid, Numisbids & DelCampe for the auction, or visit our own website to register your pre bids at www.numisor.ch.
